James Nachtwey
James Nachtwey is an American photojournalist and who has been a contract photographer with TIME Magazine since 1984. Nachtwey has documented wars, conflicts and critical social issues in Northern Ireland, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Lebanon, the West Bank and Gaza, Israel, Indonesia, Thailand, India, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, the Philippines, South Korea, Somalia, Sudan, Rwanda, South Africa, Russia, Bosnia, Chechnya, Kosovo, Romania, Brazil, Ukraine, and the United States. His work has been awarded two World Press Photo Awards, the Alfred Eisenstaedt Award, and seven Magazine Photographer of the Year awards, among others.
